Refund Eligibility

We understand that sometimes circumstances change. Refunds may be requested under the following conditions:

  • Accidental or duplicate payments
  • Technical errors during payment
  • Wedding cancellation (with valid documentation)
  • Fraudulent collection (reported and verified)

Refund Timeline

Request: Submit within 30 days of payment

Review: 2-3 business days

Processing: 5-7 business days after approval
Credit: Appears in original payment method

Non-Refundable Items

The following are generally not eligible for refund:

  • Platform fees (2%) - these cover payment processing costs
  • Contributions where vouchers have already been redeemed
  • Requests made after 30 days from payment date
  • Funds already transferred to the couple

Required Information

To process your refund request, please have the following ready:

  • Email address used for the payment
  • Razorpay Payment ID (starts with "pay_")
  • Reason for refund request
  • Any supporting documentation (if applicable)

Cancelling a Collection

If you need to cancel your wedding collection:

  • Contact us at support@getshagun.com
  • We will process refunds for all pending contributions
  • Already-transferred funds require manual coordination
  • The collection URL will be deactivated
